Koshihikari rice is harvested in Niigata Prefecture in the Chubu region of Honshu by farmer Shigeo Honma. Koshihikari is recognized as the king of Japanese rice in terms of its popularity, taste, and production. It features a strong stickiness and sweetness, and is known for its distinct aroma and luster when cooked. Koshihikari makes up more than one third of the acreage of rice in Japan, making it synonymous with the idea of delicious rice.

Hitomebore rice is harvested in Iwate Prefecture in the Tohoku region of Honshu by farmer Takuya Kawamura. Hitomebore rice has a well-balanced and gentle taste, which pairs perfectly with just about any food and is delicious enough to be enjoyed hot or cold.

Seiten no Hekireki is harvested in Aomori Prefecture in the Tohoku region of Honshu by farmer Takumi Kasai. This rice is sweet and rich, characterized by its elegant flavor and aroma along with a delicious taste, making it the ideal pairing for any side dish or rice topping.

Yumegokochi is harvested in Yamagata Prefecture in the Tohoku region of Honshu by farmer Nobuhiko Kurosawa. Yumegokochi translates to “dream feeling,” which reflects the delightfully sweet taste of this incredibly sticky rice.
