Katsuobushi Onigiri


3 C warm rice
1 t bonito flakes
1 t soy sauce
salt

1. Mix together the rice and soy sauce. Add in the bonito flakes and combine well.

2. Split the rice mixture into 4 equal parts.

3. Wet your hands and add a small amount of salt to the surface. Then, take one portion of the rice mixture and form into a triangular shape.

4. Serve your onigiri with a sprinkle of bonito flakes on top. You can also serve with a side of pickled daikon or plum.
