How To Make Gluten-Free Waffles

Rice flour can be used to make baked goods, batters for fried foods, dumpling wrappers or as a thickening agent in soups, stews, or curries.Rice flour is not only a good source of important nutrients, but it’s an excellent option for those with a gluten allergy or sensitivity. 

This waffle recipe is sure to please everyone in your home!

Gluten-Free Waffles
Serves: 6

Ingredients:
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 ¼ cups rice flour
1 ¾ cups milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks
1 cup instant oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Mixed berries for topping

Directions
1. In a bowl, beat vegetable oil, milk, and egg yolks.
2. In a separate bowl, mix oats, rice flour, baking soda and baking powder. Then, add oil, milk and egg yolk mixture. Stir to combine and let rest for 5 minutes.
3. Slowly fold in beaten egg whites.
4. Add batter to waffle iron and heat until waffles are cooked through.

Transfer to a plate, top with berries, and enjoy.
